WeWOOD began in Italy and is now located in Los Angeles. The company's philosophy is cool. It reminds me a lot of Blake Mysockie, founder of TOMS, sustainable "one for one" model of business. You get one pair of shoes and because of your purchase you provide another pair to a person in need. Well, for each WeWOOD watch you buy, a tree is planted. Their website states, "One Watch - One Tree - One Planet." I know what you're thinking.."Ok? but they're making these watches out of wood thus probably cutting down trees?" Well my friends, the wood that the watches are made out of is actually from scraps of unused floor planks. So just think, you can be uniquely stylish (because honestly how many people do you know own a wood wrist watch?) and at the same time know that you have done good and helped Mother Nature by planting a tree.
I "wood" probably get "Date Beige". Which "wood" you choose?
