Sláinte, Ireland!

There's a little piece of my heart that is shaped like a four leaf clover and it yearns to be over in the magical country of Ireland. But, there's nothing like Saint Patrick's Day in the States, so I guess it balances out (like once a year).  I'm pretty sure the whole month of March should just be officially dedicated (or cheersed/toasted) to Ireland, Saint Patrick and the color green.

While a typical March 17th may involve loads of green beer, corned beef and cabbage, pots of gold, and college basketball, celebrations this year involved a new treat! Have you ever had Guinness Cupcakes with Bailey's Frosting? If not check out the recipe and put it on the to-do list for next year (or the remaining few weeks of March). They were pretty delicious and Irish!

Happy Saint Patrick's Day!

Don't worry, she didn't actually have any -- but probably felt right at home.
