Today is Chris Martin's 34th Birthday. To Great Britain's very own and Coldplay's lead singer, Happy Birthday!
He's one of my favorites and it doesn't hurt that he has collaborated with the likes of Jay-Z, Kanye West and the Streets -- it definitely makes for some interesting songs.
I can't include all of my favorite Coldplay songs in honor of the celebration, but while listening this evening, I stumbled upon a great acoustic version of "Lovers in Japan," check it out. Which version do you like better?
Also, I wonder if Chris would ever consider adding Drake to his "rapper collaboration list?" Listen to the song below called "Fly Scientist" from the mixtape "October's Very Cold." It's actually pretty good, I can't imagine what kind of results a real life recording would produce.
