The Explorer.

With the North American International Auto Show just beginning and soon to be open to the public this weekend it only feels right to give kudos to Ford Motor Company (they are Pure Michigan -- built Ford tough).

However, while most in the auto industry and press may be soon praising new designs, improvements and concept cars, I'd like to give props to Ford for their wonderful new Explorer 2011 commercials. You may have seen them during the Fiesta Bowl or perhaps, the BCS National Championship. They're simple, fun, spots filled with lots of movement, colorful shots, bold instructions and music that should be played at maximum volume in your vehicle with all the windows down.

Another cool thing about these advertisements? The awesome Team Detroit of Michigan helped dream them up! So here's a high five to the great things happening in the High Five State!

What do you think? Did they catch your attention?

If you're interested in the songs to put on your playlist and plug into your Ford; the first is Josni "Go Do" and the second is Derby "If Ever There's a Reason"

  1. I'm glad you're plugging Ford...to paraphrase a quote I read the other day: "GM has sucked on the taxpayer teet way too much for my liking."

  2. It's time to arrive in style. Nice creative work, Chrysler.
